Analisis pengembangan tanaman hutan komersil berbasis kesesuaian lahan di Kecamatan Tinanggea Kabupaten Konawe Selatan

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Tinanggea, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat kesesuaian lahan aktual dan potensial untuk pengembangan vegetasi hutan di kecamatan Tinanggea kabupaten Konawe Selatan, dan untuk menentukan rekomendasi untuk perencanaan penggunaan lahan dan strategi untuk mengembangkan vegetasi hutan di kecamatan Tinanggea Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan dari Juli hingga Desember 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Data demografi sekunder dikumpulkan dari BPS Tinanggea dan lembaga terkait, serta dari laporan sebelumnya yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Data primer dikumpulkan dari survei tanah di lapangan, analisis laboratorium, analisis kesesuaian lahan, dan arah penggunaan lahan. Kelas terbaik dari kesesuaian lahan aktual untuk pengembangan tanaman hutan termasuk teak dan akasia, dan sengon. Kelas potensial lahan terbaik yang cocok untuk pengembangan tanaman hutan adalah jati dan sengon. Arahan untuk pengembangan tanaman hutan adalah: SPL 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, dan 27 (sengon), SPL 7, 8, 9, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 28, 29, 30, 31 (jati) dan 13, 14, 15 (sengon, jati). Strategi pengembangan tanaman hutan di Kecamatan Tinanggea, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kemandirian petani, pengembangan kemitraan, pengembangan kelompok tani, peningkatan keterampilan sumber daya manusia, demplot yang lebih intensif, dan peningkatan pemanfaatan teknologi melalui pengembangan dan perluasan.
