Length-weight relationship and condition factors of Rabbitfish (Siganus guttatus, Bloch 1787) in Sei Carang Waters, Tanjungpinang City, Indonesia Sei Carang waters are baronang fish habitat (Siganus guttatus). The research was to determine the length-weight correlationship and condition factors of baronang fish (S. guttatus) in Sei Carang. Sampling of baronang fish (S. guttatus) in two months (September-Oktober 2019) is taken once a week based on fishing activities and water conditions. Length-weight correlationship of female and male baronang fish (S. guttatus) were W = 2,0895E-05L2,9575 and W = 1,30073E-05L3,0424 respectively, based on this value show that female and male baronang fish (S. guttatus) in Sei Carang have isometric growth patterns (b = 3). Condition factors of female and male baronang fish (S. guttatus) were 1,735 and 1,633 respectively. Parameter Populasi Beberapa Spesies Ikan Karang Di Perairan Kecamatan Seram Timur Kecamatan Seram Timur Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur cukup terkenal dengan hasil perikanan tangkap dan salah satunya adalah ikan karang. Penelitian tentang parameter populasi dari ikan karang di Indonesia masing tergolong sedikit sehingga penulis memandang perlu untuk melakukan penelitian ini guna menambah kajian ilmu tentang parameter populasi ikan karang di Indonesia dan di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur secara khusus. Pengambilan sampel di Perairan Kecamatan Seram Timur dilakukan selama 8 bulan, sebanyak 622 ekor ikan sampel. Parameter yang dianalisis adalah pola pertumbuhan, parameter pertumbuhan (Lt, L¥, K dan t0), estimasi laju mortalitas (M, F dan Z) dan laju eksploitasi (E). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebaran frekuensi panjang dari semua jenis ikan berada pada satu kelompok ukuran panjang, dengan pola pertumbuhan pada semua jenis ikan karang adalah alometrik negative. Nilai L¥ berkisar antara 314.74 mm sampai 460.00 mm dengan nilai koefisien pertumbuhan (K) berkisar antara 0.42 sampai 1.10 per tahun dimana umut t0 berkisar antara – 0.0735 sampai – 0.2530. Laju mortaltas akibat penangkapan (F) pada umumnya lebih rendah dari laju mortalitas alami (M) kecuali pada jenis Lutjanus lentjan yang menyebabkan rata-rata laju ekploitasi (E) masih dibawah 50% sehingga dapat dikatan bahwa ikan-ikan karang diperairan kecamatan Seram Timur masih berada pada kondisi under exploitation Abdul Gafur RUMAGIAAbdulGafurRUMAGIAJacobus W. Growth and Distribution of Frequency Long Fish (Decapterus sp) Catching Products In Iner And Outside Waters Of Bara Buru District - Maluku The waters of Bara Bay as one of the small pelagic fishing areas in Buru Regency have considerable potential. Fishing efforts carried out by small fishermen using traditional fishing gear such as gill nets and long line have changed along with the development of fishing technology so that studies are needed related to standing stock and the dynamics of fish resource populations. This study aims to determine the growth and frequency distribution patterns of Layang fish (Decapterus sp) and to compare body lengths of fish caught outside the bay and in the bay of Bara. The result study showed that the highest frequency distribution of Layang (Decapterus sp) fish was outside the bay at 208-218 mm, and the location in the bay was 168-179 mm in length. The growth pattern of Layang fish (Decapterus sp) at both catchment locations (Outside Bay and in the bay) is negative allometric meaning that the length growth is faster than the weight growth.The relationship between fish length and weight was very strong with value R = 0.995 at the Outside Bay catchment area and an R = 0.983 value at the Inside Bay catchment location. There is a difference in the length of the Layang fish (Decapterus sp) caught outside the bay and inside the bay with a significant value of p<0.05 where the average length of the Layang fish (Decapterus sp) outside the Bay is greater (215.876 mm) than the average length of Layang fish (Decapterus sp) in the inside Bay (193.661 mm). Aspek bio-reproduksi ikan lolosi biru (C. caeulaureus) yang didaratkan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Ternate Provinsi Maluku Utara Ikan lolosi biru (Caesio caerulaureus) adalah salah satu spesies ikan karang yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis pentingyang usaha penangkapannyaoleh nelayan di Maluku Utara di lakukan di secara intensif dan dalam jumlah yang besar secara bebas. Sehingga kecendrungan terjadi eksploitasi yang berlebihan demi memenuhi permintaan yang terus meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan pola pertumbuhan ikan lolosi biru dan menentukan tingkat kematangan gonad, indeks kematangan gonad serta fekunditas ikan lolosi biru. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama satu bulan yaitu pada bulan Desember 2011,dengan lokasi pengambilan data di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Ternate. Parameter yang di amati adalah hubungan panjang berat, tingkat kematangan gonad, indeks kematangan gonad dan fekunditas dari ikan lolosi biru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola pertumbuhan dari ikan lolosi biru baik jantan maupun betina adalah "allometrik mayor" yaitu pertambahan berat lebih cepat dari pertambahan panjang. Tahapan kematangan gonad yang mendominasi pada ikan lolosi biru betina adalah TKG III dan IV, sehinga menunjukan bahwa ikan lolosi biru betina yang tertangkap dibulan Desember tahun 2009 semakin mendekati waktu pemijahan.
